D’orica bracelet in 18 kt rosé and white gold and Sericyne silk. A unique piece of jewelry created by combining a silk band with a finish consisting of a mesh of golden spheres reminiscent of lacework. This acts as a frame for the silk band, which has been embellished with decorations created using D’orica’s distinctive technique, carried out exclusively by hand: diamond-cut spheres sewn with a needle and gold thread. The burgundy silk has been combined with rosé and white gold to create a geometry of colors and light through the union of two precious metals.

This virtual exhibition invites you to explore the ARACNE project, a European initiative dedicated to safeguarding and revitalizing silk heritage. Here, you can discover how ARACNE connects history, culture, and innovation—sharing stories, research, and activities that trace silk’s journey across Europe. The site highlights not just the rich legacy of silk production but also present-day efforts to create a modern European Silk Route, linking communities and inspiring a renewed appreciation for traditional skills and creative industry.
