Protective silk masks left over from Wolford production have been sustainably transformed into sculptural garments and accessories by students of textile design at the University of Maribor through creative redesign and repetition of black and black-and-white patterns.

Silk protective masks left over from the production of the Wolford company were given a new lease of life through the redesign of garments and bags. The models were designed by students of the Textile Design Technology programe at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Maribor. A sustainable design approach, in which the masks were reassembled in different ways, resulted in interesting shapes and numerous repetitions in black or black and white patterns, resulting in sculptural fashion accessories and garments.
